The dominant tenant of the facility is Duvenbeck, a leading international logistics provider. The project was completed on schedule in the second quarter of 2025, with Duvenbeck taking occupation of the building on 1 July.
Innovinia's latest development, IGPark Debrecen logistics hall of nearly 20,000 m², was built on a 4,6 hectare industrial site, in the “VIP” industrial zone of the Debrecen Southern Economic Belt, in the immediate vicinity of the BMW plant.
"The investment is a significant milestone in the life of Innovinia, as the development was realised according to plan in a very dynamic real estate market right next to BMW, and the building was fully let by the time it was handed over. We are very pleased that Duvenbeck will be able to start operations on schedule, for which we have tailored the building-section and sincerely look forward to a successful long-term cooperation." - said Andrea Derényi, head of sales at Innovinia.
Sustainable development, long-term thinking
The newly opened logistics hall represents a new level in industrial real estate development, not only in terms of size, but also in terms of its environmentally conscious design. Innovinia's aim was to develop IGPark Debrecen along an eco-industrial concept, in line with the company's ESG strategy.
The building in Debrecen is powered entirely by electricity, which will be supplemented in the future by solar energy. The company seeks to implement ESG solutions that have a long-term impact, such as the planting of native plant species, which will result in biodiverse yet durable vegetation in its parks. A prominent example is the project in Debrecen, where green spaces were developed with the cooperation and professional guidance of the Department of Ecology at the University of Debrecen.
Strategic partner: Duvenbeck
The main tenant of the new building is Duvenbeck, which has chosen Debrecen to strengthen its logistics network in the region. The strategic location and modern, sustainable infrastructure were key factors for the company.
"The cooperation with Innovinia was extremely professional throughout the entire development period. Our new Debrecen site strengthens our Central European logistics network with its strategically prominent location and state-of-the-art technical equipment," said Mónika Kovács, Head of Duvenbeck Hungary.
