We’re committed to protecting the health of customers’ employees, so we arranged free health screenings for everyone working at two of our Hungarian parks, with another two screening programs coming to other parks in the country soon.

Health screening buses pulled up at Prologis Park Budapest-Harbor and Prologis Park Budapest-Sziget in June. At Prologis Park Budapest Harbor, 231 people registered for screenings over three days at the start of the month. In Sziget, a total of 227 people registered.

That’s a whopping 458 people who have already taken part in our Hungarian health screening program. The initiative should soon be rolled out at two more parks in the country: Prologis Park M1-Páty and Prologis Park Gyál.

Tests included a cardiac stress test, a respiratory function test, and a melanoma test. Working together with customers, registration of employees for the health screenings was smoothly coordinated as a quick and easy break from their working day.

“The health of everyone working at our parks is of paramount importance to us,” said Szilvia Andrelli, Real Estate & Customer Experience Director at Prologis. “Knowing how it can be an inconvenience to take time out of your working day to go for a check-up, we decided to bring health checks to employees at our parks instead. It was great to see so many people taking part, and we want to thank the medical teams who tested such a large number of people over just six days.”

Helping ensure health and wellbeing is part of our wider emphasis on ensuring that Prologis parks are pleasant places to be and work. By fostering a positive and caring atmosphere, we help our customers gain and retain the best possible workforce.

As well as health and safety measures, this also means creating copious green spaces and options for additional activities through our PARKlife™ initiative. BBQ areas, sports areas, outdoor gyms and more help employees throughout Central Europe relax or exercise in their free time, while adding to the sense of community and togetherness at our parks.

Putting people first is at the heart of what we do, and health checks in Hungary have left hundreds feeling more confident and content. Whether it’s making sure the conditions are just right at our parks, providing opportunities for sport and relaxation, or putting health front and center, wellbeing is…
