Where the warehouses are
Supply is densest near the city limits, around the junctions of the M0 ring road, and reaches out along the motorways towards the county's further towns:
- North: Fót and Dunakeszi near the M0, M2 and M3, with Gödöllő and Vác further out. See the North Pest sector too.
- East: Vecsés, Üllő, Ecser and Maglód around the airport and the M4, and Nagytarcsa, where the M31 joins the M0 (East Pest).
- South: Gyál and Alsónémedi near the M0 and M5, Dunaharaszti and Szigetszentmiklós on the southern M0 (South Pest).
- West: Budaörs, Törökbálint, Biatorbágy, Érd and Páty along the M0, M1, M6 and M7 (South Buda).
- North-west: the smaller warehouses of Budakalász, Pomáz and Pilisvörösvár; the M0 reaches this direction only at Budakalász.
Logistics parks and halls
The county's supply comes in two layers:
- Logistics parks: halls built for truck traffic, with dock doors, usually let in units of several thousand square metres. The county's are listed under logistics warehouses in Pest County.
- Halls: drive-in storage halls, workshops and halls fit for production, in smaller industrial parks and on plots of their own, from a few hundred square metres. The industrial halls in Pest County list shows them; the kinds of hall, and what to check before renting one for production, are on the industrial halls for rent page.
Rents and sizes
Asking rents differ from warehouse to warehouse; each warehouse's asking rent is shown in the list. In the large logistics parks the units to let usually start at a few thousand square metres; in the smaller industrial parks and halls a unit of a few hundred square metres can be found too.
The market's figures
The Budapest Research Forum (BRF) measures the capital and its surroundings as one market: the quarterly figures of the industrial and logistics stock, vacancy and take-up around Budapest are on the industrial market data page.
